NE Jones district should get lower insurance rates with improvement to Class 7The Northeast Jones Fire Protection District now has a better insurance classification from the Mississippi State Rating Bureau, improving from Eighth Class to Seventh Class as of Oct. 19. The cost of insuring property in the district — which includes areas in and around Sandersville, Rustin, Myrick/Mill Creek, Glade and Powers — may now be a little lower after the improvement, saving taxpayers money on their premiums.
